Pastor Richard has shared that we can participate in The Lord's Supper in our homes as a special time spent with Jesus, our Savior, and our beloved Lord. This is a special time when we can draw close to Him, thank Him for the blessings we receive, and even ask Him to guide us and deliver us through challenges in this life which involve body, mind, and spirit.
When we share this supper with Jesus, we remember the total sacrifice He made to forgive our sins. No other religion promises this. So supper with the Lord is a time to rejoice.
The bread is his body broken for us so we may be forgiven and healed.
The cup is remembrance of the blood he shed as the final sacrifice for the sins of all who would believe in Him, as the Son of God, with sole authority to forgive sins.
